Montana is where Kirsten raises her family and creates art. The Big Sky has inspired her to paint as well as expanding the boundaries of her sculptural work. She works on commission and has many works in private and public collections around the nation.
While studying art at SIU, Carbondale and Curtain University, Western Australia, Kirsten worked in many disciplines including ceramics, glass blowing, bronze casting, architectural ironwork, but working with metal stole her heart. She ended with a BFA specializing in metalsmithing.
Her award-winning paintings and sculptures are featured in public and private collections.
