KIRSTEN KAINZ
The natural world inspires Kirsten's work. Her art captures the best of what is beautiful and helps us find a place of honor for it in our lives. She is known for her large iron animal sculptures and her paintings of ephemeral landscapes and bold horses.
Her subjects and materials evolve quickly and are unlimited. There are several projects rolling at all times including welding, sculpting, painting. All of her work loops back to one common source which is her deep-seated love of the natural world. Her work is made to help devolve a deeper love and respect for the natural world.
She earned her BFA in Metalsmithing at SIU, Carbondale, IL & Curtain University in, Western Australia.
Kirsten and her husband live in Montana where they raise four wild girls, host many animals, own Map Brewery, and try to make the most out of living in a beautiful place.
Her fine art is featured in public and private collections around the globe.
